Biography: Wayne Waldron is one of the exceptional American artists whose work is both highly collected and recognized worldwide by critical jurors in his own lifetime. He has received over 525 awards for his miniatures and large format paintings, including Judge's Award of Excellence at the Third Exhibition of the World Federation of Miniaturists, and Best of Show at a recent Oil Painters of America Exhibition.

Waldron is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, and his work was designated, a 'State Treasure of Indiana' in 2007. He founded the Small Painting Society of Indiana in 2001.

His work is exposed to thousands of people from around the world in his studio/gallery located in the quaint village of Nashville, Indiana, where he creates daily.

The unusual confluence of art career and passion reveals that Waldron did not choose art as a lifelong devotion - rather, art chose him.
