She was proprietor of her own art business Skyline Studio in Minnesota, MN A'la Advertising /Art in Bellevue, WA. In 1982 she was awarded Signature Membership in Miniature Artists of America. Her miniatures have been exhibited in the Signature Membership Traveling Exhibit. She had miniatures in the 1st World Federation Exhibit, London, England. The 2nd World Federation Hobart, Tasmania & she had five paintings included in the 3rd World Federation Exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. Katherine has a miniature painting in Jane Blake's Birthday Book. Her biography has been included in Marquis Who's Who in America for the past 10 years. She received both a gold and a silver awards from the Grumbacher Company.
