Biography: Janet Laird-Lagassee employs watercolor, graphite, and egg tempera working both full size and in miniature.
Laird's work is juried into regional, national, and international exhibitions throughout the USA, and in Canada, England, Bangladesh, Japan, and Australia. Her work has earned numerous awards including many Best of Shows. Laird's work is in the collections of the Springfield Art Museum, MO; the International Museum of Miniature Art, The Hague, The Netherlands and the Miniature Art Society of Florida. Her work is in corporate and private collections throughout the USA, in Canada, South Africa, and Australia.

Laird holds Signature Membership in the American Watercolor Society (AWS), Miniature Artists of America (MAA), New England Watercolor Society (NEWS), North East Watercolor Society (NEWS), and Watercolor West (WW). She is a Watercolor USA Honor Society member, Academic Artists Association Juried Artist member; Miniature Painters, Sculptors, & Gravers Society of Washington, DC Juried Associate; World Federation of Miniature Artists Charter Member.
