Jane Mihalik , MAA Founding Member since 1985 2008-2012 MAA TE Work: "Teapot with Oranges", 4 x 6.5 centimeters, 1⅜ x 2⅜ inches Medium: Oil Biography: Jane Mihalik was one of the original twelve artists selected for membership in the newly formed Miniature Artists of America in 1985. She has won "best in show" awards in annual exhibits at the Miniature Art Society of Florida (2009, 2000, 1994 & 1992); World Exhibition of Miniature Art in London, England, representing MAA (1995); Casper, Wyoming International Art Show (1995); Miniature Art Society of New Jersey (1986); and the Allegheny International Miniature Art Exhibition (1983). She is represented in the Smithsonian Institution's permanent White House American Artist Egg Collection (1983). She has exhibited at the Olympic Committee sponsored Small Art Show in Nagano, Japan; The Butler Institute of American Art National Exhibition; the Tampa Museum of Art Miniature Art Show; the Ulster, Ireland Society of Miniaturists Annual Exhibition; and the St. Petersburg, Florida Museum of Fine Arts.
