Chrysoula Argyros , MAA Member since 2007

Biography: Chrysoula Argyros was born on the island of Lemnos, Greece in 1954 and immigrated to South Africa in 1956. She joined the Watercolor Society of South Africa in 1991 and achieved Associateship in 1993 and Higher Associateship in 2005 and has received many awards from WSSA. Chrysoula was commissioned to do a painting for former President F.W. De Klerk in 1994. She joined the Miniature Art Society of South Africa in 1992 and has received numerous awards.
Had work was accepted for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th World Exhibitions for Miniature Art and was awarded Highly Commended for "Best Portrait in any medium" at the 4th World Exhibition. Chrysoula had work accepted at MASF and many other international miniature art exhibitions held in the USA and has been awarded prizes ranging from 1st prize to Honorable Mention.
She was invited to be an Associate Member of MPSGS in 2006 and was voted into MAA as a Signature Member in 2007.
